Bacon Sausage Brussels Sprouts
Servings: 6 – 8
2 lbs. Brussels sprouts, sliced in half
1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
2 links, Big Fork Bacon Sausage, fully cooked, quartered length wise, then sliced thin
6 – 8 cloves garlic, smashed
½ orange, zested and juiced
½ teaspoon kosher salt
Directions:

Blanch the Brussels sprouts in boiling water for five minutes. Drain and let cool.

Heat a large skillet over medium heat with the oil. Add the bacon sausage and cook until the sausage begins to brown. Add the garlic and cook for 1 minute on medium heat.

Add the Brussels sprouts and cook for 10 minutes over medium heat, stirring occasionally.

Remove from heat and stir in the orange zest, orange juice and salt. Serve warm.
