Pimento cheese is a popular spread or dip in the Southern United States. It is made from shredded cheddar cheese, mayonnaise, diced pimentos, and various seasonings such as garlic, onion powder, and paprika. The ingredients are typically mixed together until creamy and served as a spread for sandwiches or crackers, or as a dip for vegetables or chips. Some variations may also include cream cheese, sour cream, or hot sauce for additional flavor. Pimento cheese can be found in many grocery stores and restaurants throughout the South, and is also commonly made at home.

One of the best dips/spreads of all time, only made better with meaty – smoky bits of pork! We have a recipe using our snack sticks and another using our bacon sausage. Either way you can't go wrong. Plus adding a little Chicago Fire Sauce always helps too!
Stir together all the ingredients together in a medium sized bowl until well combined.
Season with salt and pepper.

Recipe Note
Pimento cheese can be garnished in various ways depending on personal preference and the dish it is being served with. Here are some common garnishes for pimento cheese:
Fresh herbs: Sprinkle chopped fresh herbs such as parsley, chives, or dill over the pimento cheese for a pop of color and flavor.
Pickled vegetables: Top the pimento cheese with pickled vegetables such as pickled okra, jalapenos, or banana peppers for a tangy and crunchy garnish.
Bacon: Crumble crispy bacon over the pimento cheese for a salty and savory garnish.
Nuts: Chopped nuts such as pecans or walnuts can be sprinkled over the pimento cheese for added texture and nuttiness.
Olives: Sliced or chopped olives can be used as a garnish to add a briny flavor to the pimento cheese.
Tomatoes: Sliced cherry tomatoes or diced Roma tomatoes can be placed on top of the pimento cheese for a fresh and juicy garnish.
Hot sauce: A drizzle of hot sauce over the pimento cheese can add heat and depth of flavor to the dish.
